• Line Dance Club (Special Report) Coordinator - Kang Liu Cheng Weekly classes (10 classes per session) are taught by instructor, Ben Huang, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM on Sundays or 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturdays, at the TECRO Culture Center in Gaithersburg (see below the "line dance classes" for location and cost). Other future activities, such as attending line dance party in the community, line dance conference or even line dance cruise, will be organized if there are enough attendances. 1. Line Dance Class (Rolling Admission )
Instructor - Ben Huang
The summer session just ended. Smart BEINU girls learned fast and had lots of fun to pick up different styles of line dancing. Now the fall session will start on Oct. 1. If you are interested, please contract Mrs. Huang (301-924-9229) or Kang Liu Cheng (301-299-6370), or simply show up at the following location and time. The location and time will stay permanent from now on.
Time: 10 AM to 11:30 AM (Sundays)
Place: The Chinese TECRO Center, 901 Wind River Lane, Gaithersburg, MD.
Cost: $50/10 classes
Ben has another class on Saturdays (2:30 PM - 4 PM) at the same location. It can be used for make-up class if you miss the regular Sunday's one, or vise versa if you're the Saturday's student.
2. International Folk Dance Class (New information)
Instructor - Sandy Lee (class of 1971)
CCACC( 美京華人活動中心 ) starts an ' International Folk Dance' class in November. This class teaches famous folk dances from many countries in the world, including group dances, couple dances, square dances and more. Folk dance combines beautiful music and easy to learn steps for both men and women. It is a dance for all ages.
Several trials at Tilden Middle School and Culture Center in September attracted many people. They all had lots of fun! At the request of many beginners, the class will begin with the most basic steps and the simplest music.
The first session will start on Saturday 11-4-06. Please contact Sandy Lee at 301-963-4092 if you have any questions.

Subject: 阿扁的鐘 A-bian's clock
A man died and went to Heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.
某人死後來到天國，在天國門口遇到了聖彼得，同時看見聖彼得後面的一大片牆上掛 滿了時鐘。
He asked, "Whatever are all those clocks for?"
他問道：「那些時鐘是作什麼用的？」
St. Peter answered, "Those are lie-clocks. Everyone on Earth has a lie-clock.
Every time you tell a lie, the hands on your clock will move a tiny bit."
聖彼得回道：「那些都是記錄扯謊的鐘，每個人一生都跟隨著一個扯謊的鐘，
他每扯一次謊時鐘的指針就動一小格。」
"Oh," said the man, pointing at a clock still at 12, "whose clock is that?"
「喔！」這人回應，並指著一個仍停留在十二點的鐘問：「那個鐘是誰的呢？」
"That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved, indicating that she was totally honest."
「那是泰瑞莎修女的，它的指針從未動過，這表示她一生都沒扯過謊，是個很坦誠的人。」
"I see," said the man. "And whose clock is that one?"
「我明白了。」 此人說道； 「那個鐘又是誰的呢？」
St. Peter responded, "That's George Washington's clock.
The hands have moved twice, telling us that he told only two lies in his entire life."
聖彼得回道：「那是喬治˙華盛頓的鐘，它的指針動過二次，這表示他這一生只扯過二次謊。」
"Why this clock point at 11:59, was that man more honest than Mother Teresa??"
「那這個鐘為什麼指到11 點 59 分，難道此人比泰瑞莎修女還要誠實？」
St. Peter replied again, "No, that's Bill Clinton's clock; telling that he told lies many times in his leader period. One more lie the clock will point at 12."
聖彼得又回答：「錯了！那是比爾˙ 柯林頓的。這表示他在總統任內謊言不斷，
再加上一次就可以回到12 點了。」
"Where's Chen Shuei-Bian's (President of Taiwan) clock?" asked the man.
「那台灣的總統— 陳水扁，他的鐘在哪裡呢？」這人問道。
And St. Peter replied, "Abian's clock is in my office; I'm using it for a ceiling fan!"
聖彼得回應道：「阿扁的鐘在我辦公室，我把它裝在天花板上當風扇用了。」
