  Fitenko Piano Duo:

 

Nikita Fitenko and Katerina Zaitseva have been playing as a Duo since 2001. Ms. Zaitseva earned her master  degree from Southern Methodist University.Dr. Nikita is on the faculty of Catholic Univ. of America.Their critically acclaimed CD of Schumann and Brahms is available through Amazon.  program: solo piano music by Chopin, Liszt and Rachmaninoff, duet music by Brahms, Barber and Rosenblatt.

 Chinese Classical Literature Appreciation  (古籍欣賞) 

  Speaker - 沈葆 (class of 1962)

In response to the increasing interest in the Chinese classical literature from the Chinese American community in the Metropolitan Washington DC area, the Director of Academic Programs of Deh-Ming  (徳明) Chinese School, Alice Jao (沈葆), has been conducting a series of seminars on Chinese Classical Literature Appreciation (古籍欣賞).

The seminars have been held first Wednesday of each month from 7 PM to 9 PM at Davis Public Library
(6400 Democracy Blvd., Bethesda, MD 20817, 301-897-2203).

Admission is free and all interested parties are welcome.
